Getting The Most Out of a Seminar

You may have heard the story (true story) of two guys who went to a weekend Toronto seminar and sat next to each other.  One went home and change tier lives, the other went back to work on Monday morning.  6 months later they meet at another Toronto Seminar and one has left his job and is flying high and the other was found the seminar to be a waste nd still in the exact same position.  Whats the difference between these two people?

The persons attitude and actions at the seminar and after they left!!!

Getting the most out of a seminar is 100% up to the person who attends.  I have seen many people who have not moved since we have met years ago (very nice people) and I have seen many who have changed, grown and fulfilled the reason why they would spend time at a seminar.  Where do you want to be?

A few tips on how to get the most from a Seminar:

First, sit at the front and participate.  The more involved you are in the seminar, the more engaged you are, you will absorb and learn more.

Second, take notes.  Taking notes is only a part of the note formula to success.  Most of us will not remember most of what we learned at a seminar, however take notes, review then the day after the seminar and about a week later.  You will absorb a lot more information from what you have learned.  I have notes from seminars in 2006 that I still read from time to time, since the lesson were that valuable to me.

Third, take action.  Take what you have learned and implement it.  You are wasting your time, if you are not willing to do the work involved to getting results.  If you ever purchase a ticket or course, plan to use it, take action and make time to actually do it.  I will only sign up for a seminar today that I will have the time to put into place what I have learned after the seminar is complete or I am wasting me time.  I heard speaker recently tell me what he has had 800 people not show up over the years that paid $5,000 to attend his course, that is making a cool 8 million dollars from people who do not even show up, I love these guys as my competitors, that shows how easy it is to get ahead.  He also rewards the ones that show up and do take action.  You will find the time if it is important, I will find the time and take it a priority to take action.

Forth, have a open mind. A different world does exist out there then you may know.  A world of fun, freedom and doing what you love.  Does it involve work? YES!!!! You are gonna have a lot of doubts or not believe you can possibly do at first, of course. I will tell you, YES you can get any goal you have and focus on it.  I sometimes look back and think I should have aimed higher then what at that time seemed big.   Think big and have a open mind, however do your own diligence and be responsible for your actions.  Diligence is VERY important.

Fifth, give back.  If you feel that you have been to a seminar and that it has changed your life, always remember the people that have helped you and always giving is very important to success.  Giving comes in different ways of time, mentoring, money and so on.  If you have gone to a seminar and are in a better place because of it, possibly is you want you can volunteer at that seminar and help others make the change you have made.  The mission of this website it for others to know that life exists outside the rat race, good economy or bad economy, you can live the life you want.

That is 5 ways to get the most out or a seminar and create your own success

Have Fun!!!!
